IBM Mainframe courses offer opportunity to program on Mainframe. Course content is concepts on MVS, JCL, VSAM , CICI , DB2,COBOL etc . There is shortage of Mainframe programmers as Computer Science graduates want to work on new technologies of Java and Microsoft etc. Majority of training Institutes provide training on only simulated environment. If you plan to do Mainframe training select an Institute which provides hands on training on Mainframe. You can do course after BSc Maths easily.

Msc + NET to become a professor and P.hd to become a researcher. if combined with UPSC you may also become an IPS/IAS. CDS is also open to serve the country.
B.Sc + MBA takes you into management jobs. Hope this helps. Feel free to know more about each path.
