BSc at Patna University is three years long. The BSc programme follows the semester model, which means that each year of the programme is divided into two semesters in each year. Therefore, candidates have to pass six semesters of the BSc programme to be eligible for a BSc degree. At the time of admission candidates will have to choose their desired specialisation and the affiliated college that they want to take admission in.

Patna University's website does not mention any application fees for candidates applying for admission into the programme. The only fee that the university website mentions for BSc is the tuition fee which is INR 10,400. Candidates have to pay some amount of the tuition fee to finalise their admission into the BSc programme. The candidates can have a look at the university website to find any additional costs regarding the programme.

National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) does not generally allow direct transfer admissions for ongoing programs, such as transferring into the second year of a B.Sc. programme from another institution. NFSU admission policies typically require students to go through their standard admission process, including entrance exams or other criteria specified for first-year admissions. If you are interested in transferring, you may need to contact NFSU directly for clarity. They might consider exceptions in rare cases, particularly if your current programme aligns closely with NFSU's curriculum and you meet all academic and administ

A BSc in Hospitality course will give you a scientific approach (for e.g. looking at equipment, statistics, trends, etc.) whereas a BA will give more creative approach (for e.g. creating a memorable experience). However they are both equivalent degrees. Additionally, most degrees in hotel management and catering are BA's.

If a candidate has a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 then they are eligible for admission in the Patna University BSc programme. Candidates are selected on the basis of the merit secured in their Class 12 exam. Patna University provides BSc admission in its main campus as well as through multiple affiliated colleges. Therefore, candidates have multiple colleges if they want to apply for BSc admission at the university and each college has a different cutoff.

Government colleges are more budget friendly as compared to private colleges in terms of fee structure. Both these colleges contain experienced faculty from all over India which help provide guidance to the students. Private colleges offer admission to the students on basis of both merit and entrance exams, depending on the college. Whereas government institutions majorly consider entrance scores.

It all depends on your personal interests, comfort and budget. Eventually, both the options will prove to be fruitful if you have the desire to learn and study this course and make a career in this field. If you are planning to pursue BSc Biotechnology from abroad, USA and Germany are the top countries which majority students aim to go for.
