It is tough to compare which institute is easier to get admission into for BSc courses among Somaiya Vidyavihar University and Jai Hind College. Both of the institutes are privately owned and have similar reputations in Mumbai. However, if we compare the admission process SVU Mumbai accepts the scores of the entrance examination for admission to BSc courses and Jai Hind College offers admission on the basis of merit. Candidates can choose any of the institutions according to their preferences. The total tuition fee for BSc courses at Somaiya Vidyavihar University ranges from INR 2.5 Lacs to INR 10 lakh. On the other hand, the total tuition fee for BSc courses at Mithibai College ranges from INR 43,900 to INR 3.1 lakh. As per the APJ Abdul Kalam University official website, the selection of the candidates for the BSc programme is merit-based. Students who are interested in admission to APJ Abdul Kalam University BSc programme must have completed their Class 12 in Science stream from any recognised board.
