Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board to apply for the BSc programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, the selection for BSc is merit-based.

West Bengal University of Health Sciences has a total intake of 1,400 for BSc. The intake is the total of BSc courses offered in affiliated colleges. Aspirants are offered seat in BSc based on a written test conducted by the university. Aspirants are selected based on their score in the written test. The university may also conduct interview for final selection.

BSc placements at Amity University Kolkata can be considered good, as the highest placement package offered by the university to BSc and other course graduates ranges around INR 32.51 LPA and was made by Amazon. The university has its own placements department, the Amity Centre for Career Development (ACCD), which is staffed by seasoned industry professionals who understand the various employment markets.
