As per the available information, there is no provision for direct admission at Fergusson College. BSc admissions at the college are merit-based. The college allots seats to eligible applicants through a merit list released on its official website. The merit list is based on the applicants' Class 12 merit and availability of seats in their desired specialisations and reservation category. Additionally, applicants must fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria for their desired BSc specialisation.

No, Fergusson College does not provide provisional admission to BSc aspirants. Only the applicants who fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria at admission are allocated seats for various BSc specialisations. The college starts the admission process after the Class 12 results of Maharashtra State Boards have been declared. It is mandatory to upload a soft copy of the Class 12 result while filling out the application form. Admission is granted based on the applicants' Class 12 merit. Hence, candidates currently awaiting their Class 12 results can not apply for BSc admission at Fergusson College.

Whether pursuing an MSc MLT course is better than starting a job after completing a BSc MLT depends on individual career goals and aspirations. For those seeking specialisation in specific areas of laboratory technology, an MSc offers the opportunity to gain advanced knowledge and expertise, which can lead to higher-level roles, such as laboratory manager or researcher. It also opens doors to academic and teaching positions. However, for those eager to gain practical experience, earn a salary, and start their career quickly, entering the workforce after BSc MLT is a viable option.
