No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to BSc courses at Ashoka University. To secure a seat in the programme, candidates must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria first, then appear for the Ashoka Aptitude Test, and give a personal interview conducted by the university admissions authority.

The admission criteria for the course is based on merit in DPU Design Aptitude Test, Studio Test and Personal Interview Performance on Campus, and as per the Past Academic Records.

For admission in a BSc programme at Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Design, it is crucial that the aspirant fulfills the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the asiprants who have passed Class 12 with at least Class 12 with a 45% aggregate (40% aggregate) are eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Candidate must also hold the Class 12 mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.
