If a candidate wants to avail of hostel services while doing their BSc at SNU Chennai, then the candidate will have to pay the hostel fees which vary from INR 98,000 to INR 2.32 lakh depending on the type of accommodation chosen.Hostel rooms are available in single and shared occupancy with air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. Candidates can also choose if they would want an attached bathroom with their rooms or not. Depending on the type of room chosen the hostel fees are calculated.

The total tuition fee for SNU Chennai BSc is INR 7.5 lakh. If we add all the other fees a student has to pay to get into the university, the cost goes on to INR 7.91 lakh for the duration of the full course. This cost excludes hostel fees and transportation fees of the university. The hostel and transportation fees vary according to the kind of accommodation of the candidate.The admission fees include a refundable caution deposit of INR 20,000, a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,500, and an admission fee of INR 20,000. To study BSc in SNU Chennai, Class 12 students should pass their board examination with a minimum 75% aggregate in the science stream with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science as one of the subjects.The selection for the SNU Chennai BSc programme is through the SNUCEE entrance exam and a Personal Interview, candidates seeking admission to BSc at SNU Chennai should prepare for that accordingly. SNU Chennai offers only one BSc programme. The programme that the university offers is BSc in Economics (Data Science). Admissions to MAHE programmes are open usually in October/November and students are encouraged to apply early since the institute offers limited seats for BSc and other course. Applicants can apply before appearing for their final exams. The Admissions Committee will take into account the marks of previous year/exams in processing the applications. Applicants who receive offer letters can join with a provisional admission and submit their results later. To retain their admission, students must have received a minimum 45% in a board recognised by the Government of India.

Yes, MCH (Manipal Centre for Humanities) regularly invites experts from the industry and scholars in allied fields to share their expertise with BSc students. Alumni visits and talks are also organised at frequent intervals. Faculty at MAHE inform students of any opportunities or openings that are announced or forwarded to them. MCH students are also provided a full range of information from MAHE regarding many possible opportunities.

Yes, it is mandatory for all first year BSc students to reside in the campus hostels of MAHE. Those desirous of staying outside under own arrangements must submit a consent letter from their parents duly recommended by their HOI and forward it to Director, Student Affairs for necessary permission.

To get admission to the BSc course at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or related subjects according to the specific specialisation students are interested in. Additionally, the basic minimum eligibility criteria asked by the university is candidates must have secured an aggregate of 45% in their Class 12.

No, on the official website of the university, it is explicitly mentioned that Manipal Academy of Higher Education does not offer any management quota seats for BSc courses. Additionally, MAHE admits students based on merit and does not have any management quota, payment seats, or donation seats.
