If a candidate wants to avail of hostel services while doing their BSc at SNU Chennai, then the candidate will have to pay the hostel fees which vary from INR 98,000 to INR 2.32 lakh depending on the type of accommodation chosen.Hostel rooms are available in single and shared occupancy with air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms. Admissions to MAHE programmes are open usually in October/November and students are encouraged to apply early since the institute offers limited seats for BSc and other course. Applicants can apply before appearing for their final exams. The Admissions Committee will take into account the marks of previous year/exams in processing the applications. Yes, MCH (Manipal Centre for Humanities) regularly invites experts from the industry and scholars in allied fields to share their expertise with BSc students. Alumni visits and talks are also organised at frequent intervals. Faculty at MAHE inform students of any opportunities or openings that are announced or forwarded to them. Yes, it is mandatory for all first year BSc students to reside in the campus hostels of MAHE. Those desirous of staying outside under own arrangements must submit a consent letter from their parents duly recommended by their HOI and forward it to Director, Student Affairs for necessary permission.
