B.Tech Admission Process

To secure admission in IIT BHU for a BTech programme, start by registering for the JEE Main Exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Qualify for the JEE Advanced exam, which is accessible to successful JEE Main candidates, and aim for a strong rank to become eligible for IITs. Meeting eligibility criteria, which includes obtaining at least 75% in your Class 12 board exams (or ranking in the top 20 percentile) is essential. Participate in the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counseling process to fill in your preferences for IITs, including IIT BHU. Based on your JEE Advanced rank and preferences, JoSAA will allocate seats. If you receive an offer for IIT BHU, complete the admission process, including document verification and fee payment.

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran shortlists candidates for BTech course based on JEE Main score followed by PTU Counselling. Additionally, candidates should pass Class 12 examination from a recognised board with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry as required subjects to apply for the BTech course. Those aspirants who have done a Diploma in Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education can also apply. After completion of the selection rounds, shortlisted candidates need to pay a course fee to confirm their seats.
