2. The content of the syllabus is inspired and adapted from top notch Universities around the world so it's a curriculum that you would get in a Stanford or Cambridge or other big University with a little Indian touch to it
3. Most professors here focus on how well you understood the content and not how well you learned it. So it really helps you have good concepts from the get go
4. The labs are well-equipped with most major and minor equipment required for Biotechnology. Above all, you can use it all absolutely free if you know how to use it.

Candidate must have completed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship, Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering) and have 0btained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together, from a recognised board are eligible to apply. Compulsory subjects: Phy, Chem. Other eligibility criteria:
Candidate who have Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
