Hi there,
Yes if you crack the entrance you will get your desired college but you will not get direct admission in 2nd year as lateral entry to 2nd year directly is only allowed for diploma students not regular B.tech students. Hope you got your answer.

The management seat fee differs from person to person depending on the credentials and performance of the students in pre-university. Please contact the hall of admissions for better clarity on the fee structure. Their yearly fee to be paid will be around 3-4 Lacs.

Hi Dikshitha,
You can surely opt for this branch. Just make sure that you get interest in studying engineering. Because, as you want to do UPSC ultimately, you might ignore engineering studies. Engineering will certainly help you in one or the other way when you'll become an IAS officer.
All the Best!

Hi Akshaya,
You can either opt for a job or higher studies. Higher studies would be a good choice. One of my friends in B.Tech chemical engineering is now going for Masters in biotechnology in the US. Finally, you should try what you feel good, I guess.
All the best.

Amity University is a great choice. Infrastructure is amazing
and the faculty members are very supportive and hard working.
Facilities like personal cabins at library, labs, etc., are there. Strict security for the students. Placements are good over here. Amity is a good option.
