Both the courses have different curriculum!
Biotechnology is a combination of biology and technology and it is an applied Science whereas BCA is a computer application degree, where you have to learn about programming, network & security, data structure etc.

B.Tech in food technology is the best option. In the food industry, there are more jobs for food technologist.
The scope for food technologist is very vast.

As per my knowledge, it is necessary to have maths as your subject in 10+2.
Duration: 4 years
Citizenship: Indian nationals. Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
