Yes, if you have studied physics, chemistry, English and mathematics or biology or biotechnology you can go for B.Tech biotechnology.

B.Tech-M.Tech requires 6 years while B.Sc and M.Sc. Biotechnology required 5 years. To join B.Tech, you have to clear the JEE Mains exam while there is no entrance exam for B.Sc Biotechnology.

Amity University is a better option as Amity has great facilities of labs, libraries, comfortable classrooms and many more. It has helpful and hard-working faculty members, great environment. There are strict security rules for the students.

Yes, you are eligible to get admission into IPU B.Tech Biotech without having Maths in 12th. For pursuing B.Tech in Biotech, there is no need to have Maths in 12th.

Yes B.Tech in Bio Tech has good scope everywhere specially abroad. Jobs like Medical coding, Article writing, Quality control related, research related. In India, the package you can get as a fresher is 4 to 5 Lacs per annum But the most important part is that you have to purse it from top universities so that you can get skill development also for the best career. I can enlist some of them Amity Institute of Biotechnology - Amity University, Lovely Professional University Punjab, School of Biotechnology, Banaras Hindu University, Department of Biotechnology and Panjab University.

There are some private colleges who are providing Biotechnology like Amity Noida, IMS Ghaziabad, etc. You can directly contact them for there admission. And if you want to be in government college like MNIT Allahabad. You should have to be appear in any of these exams. JEE, AKTU, etc.

Of course, a person who has completed class 12th with PCB can do Biotechnology. DY Patil is a good college, but for placement in biotechnology it is might less effective.
