After your board exams you have to appear for the JEE examination. You should have PCM or PCB as your core subjects and should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in your boards to qualify for the JEE exams. After you appear for the JEE, selection for bio-technology is done on merit basis.

Hello Rhema,
Biotechnology is a rapidly developing field. Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for B.E./B.Tech Biotechnology graduates in private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities, but not in the scale in which private sector does. Average starting salary is generally between 2.4 to 5 LPA.

It depends on what your CET or ComedK rank is, not entirely on your board marks. There is a weightage given to your board marks only in CET not ComedK.

Both touch different aspects of the subject. BE is more about the engineering side while you learn a lot more in B.Sc.

I am sorry to say but admission in MNNIT is done through JEE Mains only. Also, the candidate should opt for PCM in class 12th.
All the best.
