Hello Sourav,Yes you can seek lateral admission directly into second year of engineering after completion of your diploma. Normally Haryana government conducts an entrance exam for this purpose called LEET, but this year due to pandemic this exam is not going to be held and admissions will be dependent on the inter-se-merit of students in the qualifying examination that is your diploma examination. Yes you can apply for B.Tech Chemical Engineering of CIT Coimbatore. The eligibility criteria is given below.
Eligibility criteria : A pass in HSC (Academic) with Maths, Physics and Chemistry with minimum 50% of marks for open category.
Selection criteria : Single Window Counseling by Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Chennai, as per their norms (TNEA conducted by Anna University)
