Himalayan University offers a full-time BTech in Civil Engineering lasting four years. The university provides admission to candidates whi fulfil the Himalayan University eligibility criteria for BTech. As per the eligibility criteria specified by the university on its official website, an applicant must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects to be eligible for BTech (Civil Engineering) admission. Additionally, they must possess all the required documents proving their eligibiliity at the time of admission.

In order to be considered eligibile to opt for BTech Civil Engineering, you need to pursue 10 + 2 with minimum aggregate 50% (for general candidates) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC etc.) and clear the cutoff scores for any one of the following national level entrance exams:JEE MainsJEE AdvancedCUETWBJEEKEAMMHT CETYou can also directly enroll yourself into BTech Civil Engineering without giving any of these exams. Some private universities offer direct enrollment into these courses on the basis of merit based exams

While it mainly depends on your personal choice, we do recommend pursuing an M.Tech/MBA after completing your B.Tech to boost your career as it provides you an edge over other candidates.It has been observed that candidates having a post graduation degree are preferred in the long run and open up a vast range of opportunities to them which helps them grow and achieve greater heights of success in life. Therefore it is recommended that you do pursue a post graduation degree after completing B.Tech Computer Science.
