Yes, you can join a B.Tech/B.E programme in Bangalore in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) branch without appearing for an entrance test. Many private universities and colleges offer direct admissions based on your Class 12th marks. For SC category candidates, many institutions also provide scholarships and fee waivers, making the education affordable. Ensure that you meet the minimum eligibility, usually 45-50% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), and inquire about the fee structure and additional benefits available for SC students.

Diploma holders can apply for B.Tech in CSE at NIT Patna by appearing for JEE Main, as NITs do not offer lateral entry. Admission is only possible for the first year of B.Tech through JEE Main, regardless of a diploma qualification. Eligibility depends on the JEE Main score and meeting the required cutoff for NIT Patna's CSE program. Ensure to check category-specific cutoffs and requirements.
