Yes there is an entrance exam in svu other than eamcet. From 2021 they have started the entrance test separately for svu called Dual Degree programme (B.Tech+M.Tech) 6 year course which has an option to leave after 4 years with B.Tech. This dual degree programme is exempted to chemical branch. There will be official notification in may to write the exam.

I studied there. The placements are very poor, they generally call BPO and KPO and call centers. No activity is done there. All the focus is given on dance and singing. No workshops. No tours. Labs are not proper. Lack of instrumentation
Library lacks books. Not well qualified teachers
Food quality the worst in mess of hostel
They will just find a way to take money from you in form of something or the other. No ID card-pay 100
Late book return - Pay 50
Exam fees - 1500
Back paper fees - 650-800 per paper
re checking fees- 500-850 per paper
Hostel fees - 1 Lacs
Tuition fees - 80,000
and they are continuously increasing fees every year. Also no co

To be honest. It hardly matters. Both the colleges are relatively better among the list of private institutions in Odisha. At the end of your 4 year course, all boils down to campus placements, companies like Infosys, wipro, Capgemini, CTS would visit your campus and would offer comparatively same remuneration for the post of ASE. However, C. V. RAMAN has got autonomous status which attracts a more number of companies for recruitment, so go for CV RAMAN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING if you have to choose between the two. Nonetheless, the teaching style would more or less be the same in both colleges.

Yes you can. But the question is which kind of college are you targeting? There are plenty of private colleges who take students in the course as long you provide them with money but that wouldn't be a very favorable deal so I would recommend you to target top private colleges like lpu, vit, srm which they have their own entrance exam and also have management quota. So keep this in mind and good luck.

LPU will provide you with the best infrastructure and a great environment for skill development and would be the potential choice over CGC Jhanjeri. Although the teaching members are excellent, there is still a significant number of illiterate educated people. Campus:
The college is technologically advanced, with everything from daily class attendance to the timetable available online. The campus offers unlimited Wi-Fi access 24x7 as well as a close student monitoring system that provides parents with monthly reports on their children's progress.
