Being an alumni of LPU I had lot of friends in CSE stream so I had an idea about the B.Tech CSE. They are placed in eminent institutions by completing their study from LPU as they found themselves quite fortunate! I believe that LPU would be the best place for CSE. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. Eligibility Details :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
(5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants). The fee structure is Rs 1,20,000 per semester.

A dedicated iMac lab with 33 iMac systems in the central part of the University (Block-37) to incorporate the academic needs of School of Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Applications and Journalism. LPU is proud to be associated with Google Inc. within campus, Centre of Excellence for Mobile Application Development (Engineering) and Digital Marketing (MBA) Offers Android App Development and Digital Marketing certification exams: Mapped syllabus Dedicated Chrome Lab and multiple Systems directly connected with Google Cloud and easy access to The G Suite for Education (formerly called Google Apps for Education) Google Sponsored Technical events, open employment, entrepreneurship and consultancy opportunities for students. Enterprise resource planning is the key to success in the corporate world and taking into consideration LPU has established the latest SAP Labs and offering students with updated curriculum to learn technology under tie-up with SAP Education. The placements at LPU are excellent. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year.
