B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering

There is slight difference between both the colleges. Here we are comparing two different branches. It's very difficult to choose one of the above mentioned Institutes. Computer Science engineering is most popular course in engineering. So, if your interest lies in coding and other software related stuff then Choosing IIT Delhi over IIT Bombay will be a good decision. Placement wise both the colleges have 100 percent Placement but some of the electrical and electronics engineering students end up in IT sector. Average package of CSE in IIT Delhi is higher than EEE in IIT Bombay. I will place Computer Science engineering in IIT Delhi on top only due to placement.

Faculty and infrastructure are world class anyway at VJTI with some industry heads and gurus for guest lectures. VJTI is heritage and legacy brand and holds high esteem in rankings. Mechanic engineering has attracted nearly best placements. Average Package is 6 LPA. The packages are great with the highest package goes around 26LPA. Some top organizations like Siemens, Mercedes, Suzuki, Hyundai, DRDO, HAL, ABB, Ultratech Cement, Bharat Forge, Hindustan Copper, Bajaj, Havells, Philips, Tata Power, Samsung, Nokia, Aditya Birla, Reliance Oil and Gas and numerous others come to campus. The percentage rate is almost 100% for Mechanical engineering. The college also provides stupendous internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 1,20,000 per month. The internships duration is mostly around 2 months to 4months on average. VJTI is known for its academia and widely reputed as ranks in top 25 colleges in India. The diverse set of students bring peer learning at its best and also alumni support is great. The college has hands-on experience training in soft skills, psychometric tests, aptitude tests such that students are well versed for final Placements and secure their jobs easily.

NIT-Trichy is ranked 11 according to the MHRD rankings while NIT-Warangal is ranked at 34. But the question asked bothers me more. We can't compare two different branches in different colleges. Actually comparing different branches from the same college is also not a good idea. Branch is not a thing which can be termed as good or bad or better than other. Branch should be chosen only on basis of one's personal interest and passion for it. If you don't know which ones better suited for you, I would recommend to going to college's website and comparing the curriculum of both the branches. It will surely help you in making a decision. Seeing what subjects you will be studying for the next 4 years will give you a fair idea whether you like a branch or not. The placements at PES for CSE Engineering were magnificent as such. 127 students from CSE were placed in 2015-16. Average Package: 4.5 LPA. The highest package: 12 LPA by Intel and Vodafone

The placements records have been improving every year with great support and are expected to improve with double digit growth in participating companies more in the years to come by. As far as BMSCE is concerned core job roles in ECE are miniscule and average package is on lower end with ambiguous unaudited reports.
