B.Tech is better, as it fetches you a technical degree, while B.Sc would be considered as a regular Bachelor's degree. Also, if you opt for B.Tech, you would have more technical exposure as the course content is more detailed, number of practicals and projects would also be more as B.Tech is completed in 4 years. But yes, if you want to complete your studies as soon as possible, B.Sc would be better. And the fees for B.Sc is also lesser relatively. However, if you are interested in computer Science field and want to learn more, B.Tech is suggested. All the best.

There is a separate admission procedure for students from states other than Tamil Nadu(TN).
Selection is mainly through single window counselling system based on your high school. They see your PCM aggregate marks. Based on merit and as per first come first serve basis they can choose their preferred course from the available time/slot of counselling.

Hi, AKG and KIET have far better placements than ABES. For CSE both the colleges are almost equivalent. I have been a part of AKG and I have seen that there is hardly any student of CSE who has not fetched a job. There are many companies visiting college for CSE people and there are many off campus drives. Butake sure your expectations are not high with package because in UPTU colleges u the best package u get is 3-4 LPA. So placement of CSE students is almost same in both AKG and KIET
Manav Rachana is far better than Lingaya's and any other private colleges. So decide among the three colleges.

It depends on the college whether it is private, government or semi government. As we know CSE has always been the top branch in Engineering, so you should expect high fee structure. You should try for NIT, IIT colleges.

1. In B.Tech CSE, you will study core subjects that form the basis of computer science. Therefore, if you want to be a scientist then it is better to study subject from the basics.
2. B.Tech CSE is practical oriented course while B.Sc CSE is theory-oriented course. Now, if you want to be a scientist then it would better if you are perfect in practicals.
3. B.Tech CSE will give you more opportunities as it has everything to study from basics to the latest technologies and developments. At last, decision will be yours but you have to take it carefully by thinking from every point of view. It is you who can judge yourself and your conditi

No Rohit,
It's really very tough to get PIET with this rank. It also depends on the category in which you get this rank.
