There are various clubs like LADS, MADS etc. For co-curricular activities. You will get exposure to brilliant minds (I am talking about seniors and not faculty).
Placements for all branches are good. If you are in top 10% of your branch, than there are more opportunities. Training and placement cell works in a better way. Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology is the epitome of futuristic learning and development in areas of engineering, technology and management. Their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are based on the latest, industry-relevant practices, with a strong emphasis on research. TIET also collaborates with prominent foreign universities for valuable learning and exchange programmes. So, in my concern it doesn't matter from where you are studying, what matters is how you are leaning and studying CSE. So, you can choose TIET without thinking twice for an experiential learning of your B.Tech. Journey.

NIT Delhi is newly established college and started it's functioning in year 2010-2011. Hence, it's outcomes are still awaited. While PEC Chandigarh is well established India's the oldest college ( Since 1921). The placement record of PEC is very healthy, so my choice is PEC.

Hey Dikshit,
Surely, if you score in this range, then you will have a high chance of getting into CSE branch. If your score is around 270, then it is almost sure that you will easily get CSE.
Hope it helps.
