Mechanical engineering, any day. It's a traditional engineering branch that has promising career options. MIT is far ahead of VIT in terms of faculty and placement. Also, the campus is cool and is situated in the hills. I'd suggest you go for mechanical engineering especially if you are interested in machines and a better career.

MSU Baroda is a classy university with a high ranking and royal standard. B.Tech in CS from MSU is a good option. Average package is about 8-9 LPA.
