Noida-sector 62 campus is the best, and sector 128 campus is not so good for the CS branch, as in that campus the faculty is not good in comparison of the 62 campus.

You can do B.Tech CS from this college, in this stream the main cut above from all the other branches is that in this branch skills matters the most instead of the college and if you have those top level coder skills then you can easily get a job irrespective of the college you have studied from.

Sorry to say, but by marks in JEE Mains, you can't expect your college and your branch, because every year marks and rank relation changes according to cutoff marks. Good luck.

Nowadays, placement record of students CS branch is quite good whether it is from NIT, IIIT, IIT or even some private colleges. So, NIT Delhi is quite good in every aspect in comparison to Punjab engineering college.

Thapar is a great institute, along with being a reputed institute it is also a private body. This helps a lot as the placement cells are really active in those colleges. Being from CSE branch is icing on the cake. If you work hard enough and are capable, most of the big companies visit the campus so you can get a handsome package for you. The average package may be as low as 5-6 or even 7 lacs but you can grab great offers of more than 10 even 15 lacs per annum.

Hello,
If you are from Punjab, then you will get reservation in Thapar University, and it is one the best university across India. For admission in Thapar University for CS branch, you need to give JEE Mains marks and in that if you get rank under 70k, then you can get CS very easily.

You can expect a minimum pack of 2.5 LPA to 12 LPA of maximum other than that if you apply for the off campus placements then you might get some good pack above then this depending on the skills you have in that field.
