We have 86,000 seats this year in TS colleges. Qualifying rank for students is 91000.
So, it is very tough to get into.
Few people may jump to other private colleges like VIT, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham,Srm,Manipal University, IITs, Nits.

There is no difference or any variation in getting placements as placements depend upon you consistent academic record and performance in interview. But in honours you get more exposure as you study 2-4 extra courses, get more opportunities for interaction with industry people, more workshops, etc. For more information, visit LPU camp office in your town.
