MIT is one of the most reputed colleges in South India. It was initially an autonomous institution later affiliated to Anna University. The college is known for the departments like Electronics and Instrumentation, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering. It also has strong alumni base. Well, considering your academic score and the number of backlogs, let me be frank to tell you that it is not even average and if a university was to consider your academics itself for admission in M. Tech, then they would not even consider your application (to be very honest).
But, don't get disheartened, there is always more for you to do.
Your IELTS test score is also average. So, what you need to do now is to improve your IELTS score to such a score that it would camouflage your academics performance.
Apart from this, you should try and get into some projects or get LOR (Letter of Recommendation) from your concerned faculty.
Next step would be to find yourself a job, as work experience is highly appreciated by the colleges everywhere and also some universities make this a basic requirement for admission in M. Tech. And, considering your academics 3 years of work experience would be good enough to make the jury neglect your academics.

Talking about B.Tech in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing-Jabalpur. It is the best branch in the college in terms of placement as well as faculty. Faculty of CSE is highly qualified, conversant and have vast experience in their respective fields. Further on talking about the placements in consideration most of the CSE students get a package above 6-7 LPA while on the other hand, IIIT-Sri City has its first batch placed in 2016 only. This year also many big companies came for campus placements.
Next, taking the infrastructure in consideration, it is far better than IIIT-Sri city because IIIT Sri City is a recently established college and is in its initial stage while on the other hand, IIITDM-Jabalpur was established in 2005, thus placing it far ahead of IIIT-Sri City. Further on talking about the facilities, IIITDM-Jabalpur has all the basic facilities required by the students. Thus, I would prefer IIITDM-Jabalpur over IIIT Sri City on the basis of these points.

DSCE or Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, is better than RNSIT, in terms of placements. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science would fetch you a great job at this college, which has companies such as JP Morgan, Dell and HP participating in their placement drive. They have companies categorised according to the salaries they offer - the 3+ lakh per annum slab, the 5+ lakh per annum slab and the 10+ lakh per annum slab. They are one of the best colleges in terms of placements, and almost every student participating in the placement drive gets a decent job. You need not worry about getting a job here, because there are more than enough companies, and depending on your capabilities, you could even land multiple offers.
It's a great place to study in as well, and you'll definitely enjoy the college culture. The college is situated in a great location, and you won't regret the coming four years one bit. Their fest is one of the most awaited fests in Bangalore.
Academically, the faculty at BMSCE is skilled and supportive, and being autonomous, the college has a better syllabus than the university (Visvesvaraya Technological University). Do let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.

The placement at MITM is really good and appreciable, if you are in CS and IT you get placed easily if you do not have any of the back lock and you have skills you will surely get placed.
Now, the college has upgraded to university. So, number of companies coming for placements are more as compared to previous years but the average package is around 4-4.5 Lakhs and around 80-90% of CS/IT student get placed in the following companies.
Major recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, CSC, Amdocs, MuSigma, etc. The jobs offered to the students are mostly in the computer science field, even to the mechanical students. Placements for the year 2016 were horrible though, with various major companies refraining from recruiting from our college.
This is the problem in the college that not too much companies come for placements and the above one come and students have to be get satisfied with them only and make sure it's only for CS and IT students and don't get confused with the other branches. They can also get placements only if they know coding languages and in these companies only, as there are no separate companies for them.

CSE from BITS, Pilani is better as compared to NIT, Trichy.
Placements: Placements are 100% for the computer science branch. The highest package in India was 35 LPA and the lowest package for CS in India was 12 LPA. The average salary comes out to be around 22 LPA. This is very close to previous year's average too. Top shot companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Directi, Adobe, Samsung, HP, Visa, etc. to the newest startups like Nutanix, Crowdfire, etc. were among the recruiters. The roles offered mainly include software development and very rarely testing roles are given.
BITS, Pilani is an amazing place to complete your graduation. Your campus life will fill you up with memories that will last a lifetime.
Pros:

5. Infrastructure has improved a lot. By 2016-17, most hostels will be best in the country.
Cons:
1. Syllabus seems a little outdated.
2. Less research.
3. Not all faculty is supportive, though this maybe the case everywhere.
4. Weather is very tough to adjust too. Power cuts in summers add to your woes.
5. Administrative offices are pretty much like government offices. Work is slow and painful to get done though some officials are helpful.
6. Pretty far away from civilization. Nearest city is Delhi/Jaipur, both 200Km away. However, this is also a good thing, as you spend more time in the college, which somehow I believe helps in the long run.
