Its cut-off varies every year like it was 105 for JEE Mains (General category) in 2015 and was 100 this year for the same.

Hello Lakshit,
Both IT and CSE are good. It is up to you to decide which subject you want to pursue, based on your interests.
IT is more of a professional track course. You are taught about systems and their functioning on a need to know basis. You are taught regarding the basic applications of a technology. It makes you an expert at the surface level of the tech, which will aide you to develop skills required at the industrial level. A good example would be a network administrator. You need to know about networking and some basic hardware and software rules. IT can teach you what you need to know about their functionalities.
