As an alumnus of LPU, I feel proud to answer this question. I was a student in the B.Tech CSE of 2012 batch, the knowledge that I gained while my course duration has helped me a lot in shaping my career. In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialization only in one subject. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays the

As per my opinion, B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at TKM College is better than B.Tech In Biotechnology at NIT Kozhikode. CSE is in higher demand than Biotechnology in today's Digital World.

Hello Shreyas, one can never predict as to at what marks one can get admission in engineering colleges. In any case, admissions in engineering colleges these days are not based on marks of 12th but ranking of entrance exam. 12th marks are used only for screening out. Hence do not worry about marks in 12th but concentrate on studies of entrance exam. Best wishes to you.

Dear Aaditya Dutta, It depends on the university or college you are choosing for the B.Tech. Being alumni of LPU and as far as I know, you are not eligible for the B.Tech in Computer Science programme without Maths in the 12th class. However, you can apply for the B.Tech in Biotechnology and B.Sc. In Computer Science at LPU. I hope this helps
Thanks!

Hello Ishita Thakur, I can understand your angst and the anxiety. However since almost all institution give admissions based on some sort of entrance exam, marks of 12th have actually lost relevance. However the only way for you is perhaps to approach private engineering colleges or deemed to be universities for seeking admission under management quota. For this you will have to contact them directly since such information is not available in public domain. Best wishes to you.
