Based on my personal experience is would tell you to go for B.Tech. Data Science and AI has plenty of scope in the near future but it's still a growing industry in India. If you are planning to do some sort of higher studies outside India then go for data Science or AI. There's plenty of job scope outside India. Otherwise stick with B.Tech it's a safer BET and you will land a job in india some what easily.

In first year you have to pay around 20,000 for two semester 1st and 2st semester including caution deposit which will be payable after completion of your UG course, and in the 2nd and 3rd year and final year you have to pay INR. 18,000/-
