The cutoff trend for BTech at NIT Jalandhar has been increased in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under General category for All India quota was 10169. In 2022, it increased to 11547. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 14659 to 16506 for OBC, 65643 to 40521 for SC, 86192 to 67395 for ST, 11756 to 13749 for EWS and 349 to 262 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoff trend for BTech at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 50326. In 2022, it increased to 65546. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 33982 to for OBC, 205752 to 193296 for SC, 273801 to 442860 for ST, 64163 to 76737 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Jamia Millia Islamia BTech cutoff 2023 for Computer Science Engineering was 53885 for PWD category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Main, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The cutoff trend for BTech at IIIT Bhagalpur - Indian Institute of Information Technology has been decreasing in recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the General category for all India quota was 79213. In 2022, it decreased to 68306. The cutoff for BMS College of Engineering is very high. For the KCET 2023, the overall cutoff for the college was 841 - 1998 rank. The cutoff for different courses varies, but it is generally in the range of 800 - 2000. For example, the cutoff for Computer Science was 1179, while the cutoff for Civil Engineering was 1499.
