Reva University BTech course is offered across 17 different specialisations. Admission to this four-year programme is granted through scores of KCET/ REVA CET or any other national-level examinations. However, the  depends upon the university Engineering cut-off marks. A special division of the university also helps international students through the admission process, however, fulfilment of the eligibility is necessary. The university also offers admission into the BTech programmes third semester to Diploma holders. Additionally, students can also apply for Lateral Entry admission via DCET exam, conducted by REVA University.

The classes for the first semester B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Government Engineering College, Jamui for session 2024-25 may go on in August 2024. To get admission in B. Tech program, student need to clear the JEE Main exam and is followed by the counseling conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). Since the admission process is slow and is still undergoing, the college is yet to come out clear on the specific dates that classes will commence from.

VSB Engineering College accepts valid TNEA scores for admission to the BE/BTech courses, followed by counselling rounds. The TNEA Round 1 cutoff has been released, wherein the closing ranks ranged between 10431 and 26436 for the students belonging to the General AI category. The Round 1 cutoff for the ECE course stood at 26436. So, considering the TNEA 2024 cutoff, candidates with a rank of 30000 are not eligible to get into VSB Engineering College for ECE in Round 1. Candidates can wait for the next round, as the cutoffs vary for each round and category.

Kongu Engineering College BE/ BTech admission is based on a valid TNEA scores, followed by a counselling process. TNEA Round 1 cutoff 2024 has been released, and the closing ranks ranged between 11160 and 26401 for the students belonging to the General AI category. The Round 1 cutoff for ECE stood at 20797. Your cousin has 72,609 in the engineering entrance exam and hence he might face some difficulties to get into EC branch at Bijapur as most of these colleges would have higher cutoffs only. Though newer or private engineering colleges in the region may offer opportunities It would be good to cross-verify the colleges cutoffs and apply for a mix of institutions in Bijapur. She also advised to remain attached with counseling rounds and get suggestions if opted for alternative branches or other colleges, this might improve the chances of selection.

To know what cut-offs are considered for different courses at Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology, one can either visit the college’s official website or check the BCECE portal . Cut-off ranks vary according to course and category.
