Congratulations that you have taken good courses followed by your engineering. It's a good start and you may try to find a job in development and programming. Since you know the language and Software testing it would be a great help for companies to appoint you as QA or software tester.

There is almost 60 to 70% placement of B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering in Jamia Millia Islamia. Companies like Lava International, CSC, L&T limited, Mahindra Comviva and TCS are the major recruiters for Electronics and Communication Engineering here which offer packages between 3.50 -5 LPA.

Passion for coding is definitely a primary requirement for a data scientist or big data analyst at any level.
Btw, coding will be a very common practice 40 years down the line.
Work experience surely matters in the Masters courses of Business Analytics to make your profile stand out, to check the real-world credibility of your skills.
It should always be there regardless of the course.
If you do big data and want to do analysis then yes you would be a data analyst and progress from there. It all boils down to which field you want to special
