Yes, summer training is a part of UIET BE Electronics and Communication curriculum. The institute conducts two weeks summer training. The students will undergo a mandatory “Summer Training” of two weeks in their respective  departments after their second semester exams. It will be non-credited mandatory course, the result of which (satisfactory/unsatisfactory) will be reflected in their second semester mark sheet.

The year 2023 cutoff ranks for BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 656 for OBC, 448 for SC, 163 for ST, 260 for EWS, 71 for PWD.
