To be eligible for the BTech in SRM TRP Engineering College candidates must atleast have a minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as prescribed by the Govt of Tamil Nadu. HNBGU Uttarakhand BTech admission criteria is entrance-based. The university prepares a merit list based on applicants' CUET scores. If the seats are left vacant, then merit list students of HNBGU counselling are selected based on JEE Main score. Further, apart from these criteria, aspirants must have the required educational qualifications as well. Aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent pass in the Science stream with at least 45% aggregate (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) can apply.

BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters.Class 12, candidates can apply for the BTech course. Admission to BTech is based on MGMU-CET, JEE Main, MHT CET and PERA CET.
