B.Tech Eligibility

Unfortunately, Kirori Mal College does not offer B.Tech Course in its curriculum. While the college offers a wide range of courses in various fields of study, including Science, humanities, and social sciences, B.Tech Course is not among them. This may be due to a variety of reasons, such as a lack of faculty expertise, insufficient resources, or low demand from students. The general eligibility criteria to pursue a B.Tech course in colleges affiliated with the University of Delhi (DU) are as follows:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects. Some colleges may also require candidates to have a minimum percentage of marks in PCM, typically around 5060%. Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply for admission to B.Tech courses in DU colleges. However, candidates should be at least 17 years old at the time of admission. Entrance Exam: Admission to B.Tech courses in DU colleges is based on the Joint Admission Test for B.Tech (JAT B.Tech) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates must qualify for the JAT B.Tech. exam and meet the minimum cutoff marks to be eligible for admission. Reservation Policy: DU colleges follow the reservation policy mandated by the Government of India. A certain percentage of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD). Additionally, there may be specific quotas for candidates from certain regions or categories. Other Requirements: Some DU colleges may also require candidates to meet additional eligibility criteria, such as proficiency in English or completion of a specific course or programme. Additionally, the admission process for B.Tech courses in DU colleges can be highly competitive, so candidates are encouraged to prepare thoroughly for the JAT B.Tech exam.

Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT) offers B.Tech. In Data Science & Engineering. The eligibility criteria for admission to this programme at RKGIT are as follows:
1. Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognised board or equivalent examination with Physics Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
2. Minimum Marks: The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the above subjects taken together (45% for reserved categories).
3. Entrance Exam: The candidate should have a valid score in JEE Main/UPSEE/AIEEE or any other state-level engineering entrance exam.
4. Age Limit: There is no age limit for admission to the B.Tech. Programme at RKGIT. It's important to note that the eligibility criteria may vary from year to year and can be subject to change.
