B.Tech Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for pursuing a B.Tech. Course abroad can vary from country to country and from university to university. However, some common eligibility criteria that are required for pursuing a B.Tech. Abroad are as follows:
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Entrance Exam: The candidate should have a valid score in any of the engineering entrance exams like JEE Main JEE Advanced BITSAT VITEEE MHT CET KCET etc. If you are an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) student, you may be eligible for lateral entry admission to the second year of B.Tech course. The eligibility criteria for lateral entry admission may vary from institute to institute, but generally, the candidate should have completed a Diploma in engineering or technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) from a recognised institute. It is recommended that you check the specific eligibility criteria of the institutes you are interested in applying to for admission, as they may have additional requirements or variations in eligibility criteria.

The eligibility criteria for pursuing the B.Tech course at the School of Engineering and Technology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University) are as follows:
Academic Qualifications: The candidate should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics. Minimum Marks: The candidate must have secured a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the above-mentioned subjects. Entrance Exam: The candidate should have a valid score in any of the following entrance exams: JEE Main Karnataka CET, COMED-K, university-Gauge, Jain Entrance Test JET or any other state-level engineering entrance exam. Age Limit: There is no specific age limit for admission to the B.Tech course. It is important to note that the eligibility criteria may vary for different specializations offered under the B.Tech programme at the School of Engineering and Technology, Jain (Deemed-to-be University). Eligibility criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board. Bachelor of Technology, BS, or DD candidates can apply for the programme at the end of their sixth semester with the approval of the DUGC of the concerned department. Students must have a minimum CPI of 7.0 at the end of their 6th semester and should not have any backlog in their Undergraduate courses.
