Admission to NITs and IITs is based on the performance of candidates in the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main and Advanced respectively. To be eligible for JEE Main a candidate must have passed their class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech programs in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government engineering colleges are as follows:
Qualification: You should have passed your 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. DU does not offers B.Tech, but one of its Department Cluster Innovation Centre offers B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations). You have to apply separately for the Entrance Exam for B.Tech. So fill that form, if you haven't already. They have 75% in 12th as eligibility criteria for the Entrance Exam but amid the Covid Pandemic, they might give some relaxation. Keep Updated on DU website for more information.
