B.Tech Eligibility

The eligibility for the programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. After Diploma you will have to take LPU NEST and qualify it only then you will be eligible for the programme. B Tech EE is an Engineering programme that seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building problem-solving skills, keeping in view industry requirements. Students will develop competence in areas like Power Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics, etc. The highest salary offered was 31 LPA and the average salary was 4.8 LPA.

The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with English Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. According to the recent NIRF ranking, 2021 LPU is ranked 62nd among all government and private universities in India. Engineering Programs at LPU are in the same league as BITS Pilani & many IITs. As per the world ranking, 2022 LPU has been ranked 10th amongst the top universities of India in engineering subjects.
