Yes, you would be eligible. Normally speaking for any such examinations being conducted by public bodies like UPSC or state Service selection board if the criteria is graduation then invariably the students who are appearing in the final year examination are allowed to appear. This is of course subject to the condition that they have not only passed their graduation examination but pass it with the minimum percentage of marks as prescribed. Best wishes to you.

Hello Abhilash, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing a career on mathematics. This is the subject that you will find very interesting if you like it and very tough if you do not like it. Plenty of students across India need good teachers of mathematics who can make it interesting while teaching. You can download the brochure of the institute where you intend to pursue your purse graduation in mathematics and will come to know about the eligibility for the same. Engineering graduates are normally eligible to pursue this. Best wishes to you.

Minimum qualification for UPSC Prelims exam: The candidate must hold a degree from Government recognised Universities or possess an equivalent qualification. Candidates who are in their final year or awaiting results are also eligible to appear for UPSC preliminary Examination. All such candidates who are likely to appear for IAS exams must produce proof of having passed the said examination along with the application for the main IAS examination. So from above you will be eligible for UPSC Civil Services Prelims exam during the final semester of your B.Tech course.
