A Bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent marks and Masters degree (minimum two years prescribed duration after 10+2+3 years of formal education) in relevant discipline (relevancy has to be decided by the IIFM) with minimum 55% marks (absolute) including Five year/Four-year Integrated Master's Degree programme. IIFM will use XAT score for short-listing the candidates for calling for GD/PI. No, you cannot appear directly for UGC NET exam after B.Tech. First, you have to complete M.Tech then only you can give UGC NET.
