Hi,
For Most government Jobs / UPSC Exams / Staff selection Exams - you need to be a graduate from recognized University - approved by UGC. UGC and AICTE both are the statutory bodies of Ministry of human resources and development. UGC approves universities and gives UGC approval is must to all non-technical courses. Meanwhile AICTE recognizes technical courses such as Engineering, MBA. You have not mentioned your college name - Check out the list of colleges approved by UGC / AICTE.
