Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering in Mumbai is one of the well-known colleges and students prefer it over others. Because, of this the ranks required in either MH CET or JEE mains are pretty high for getting admission in this college. Based on the last year's results it is understood that if a student gets about 1000 rank in JEE he may get admission in this college and the corresponding figure is about 4000 in MH CET. However, these figures may change from year to year, depending on the performance of students and hence is not same across the years.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Prithviraj,
MIT, Pune is in the field of education for about 35 years and has become one of the leading institutions of not only Maharashtra but of India. These days robotics is the course much in demand and one needs quite high scoring to get admission. I would say that you should aim for at least 80 and above percentile for getting admission in this course.

Hi Rahul,
Recently, DTU (Delhi Technical University) had a issue where in the students came to know that it was a part time degree not a full time. Source : Quint (https://www.thequint.com/news/education/dtu-students-protest-part-time-btech-degree)
So I suggest & recommend you to do B Tech course only from a reputed college. Amity University is one of the top most private university in India & we offer B Tech specialisation courses in variety of fields.

Yes, you can definitely get admission for your engineering graduation after completion of your Diploma. When you complete Diploma, and then seek admission directly into the second year of engineering, it is called as a lateral admission. It is the accepted norm in Maharastra State and you can get admission under this category definitely. BE or B.Tech is one and the same thing, and don't get confused by the nomenclature. Some institutes award B.Tech while others award BE, but both are exactly the same. I am attaching a link of the website of the Directorate of technical education of the Maharashtra government.
