In case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech ME. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Any individual who has cleared his 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognised board or institution like CBSE or state board or NIOS is eligible to opt for B.Tech. Computer Science course. Normally, an entrance test is required to secure a seat in engineering colleges of repute. Regards.
