Yes you are eligible for btech admission.
You can take admission through lateral entry. The exams are conducted in the mid of May.
There are two exams each of 1 hr 30 min.
One will be common to all graduates and one will of specific branch.

(a) High Academics performance or records in undergraduate studies.
(b) If the course is taught in German, then proof of proficiency in German Language. If the course is taught in English, then proof of proficiency in English by TOEFL or IELTS score.
(c) Some universities Require GRE/ GATE score
(d) With relevant work experience in the field of further study chances of selection increases
(e) Demonstration of technical ability through project execution, participation in Technical symposium, conference etc.

Eligibility criteria for NPAT is that candidate should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with English as a compulsory subject & secure at least 50% marks in PCM. Candidates appearing in 10+2 can also apply. Diploma in Engineering passing candidates are also eligible. Candidates age should not

Apart from the BITSAT exam marks one should have atleast 80% in PCM each.

It's great indeed to know your dream of becoming an engineer. Good. Lateral entries in 2nd year of engineering are normally restricted by concerned states only to students from that state. Also if you score good, then you will have better chances.
