Only those who are in their final year of any graduation course or have already graduated can appear for the CAT. So, being in the second year, you cannot appear for CAT exam.

For lateral entry B.Tech admission, you should complete Polytechnic Diploma or B.Sc in PCM with 45%. You can get direct admission in the second year of engineering.

You have scored very well in your boards and there are some colleges which take admission via boards marks like SASTRA University, Thapar University, etc. but I will suggest you to wait for 1 year and prepare well for IIT-JEE, you will definitely get a good college.
