MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences & Research offers 90 seats in the BTech programme. Candidates looking for admission to BTech can apply for the admission form online. To be eligible for admission to BTech, candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream with Mathematics/ Biology with minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) from a recognised board. Additionaly, students must apply and appear in any one entrance exam, such as NEET/ JEE Main (Paper-I)/ MHT CET/ PERA of MIT-ADT for admission to BTech courses.

For admission to B.Tech in S. Veerasamy Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, the eligibility criteria are: Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or Higher Secondary Board Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination a maximum of two times For admission to B.Tech, one must have passed 10+2 examination from any board in Science stream.
