To be eligible for a B.Tech. at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, you must meet the following criteria:12th grade: You must have passed your 12th grade with at least 45% marks in aggregate and you must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.Diploma: You can also qualify if you have passed a Diploma in a relevant branch of Engineering with at least 45% marks in aggregate

Aspirants must Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology/Informatics Practice/Information Technology with at least 50% aggregate. IIIT Manipur BTech eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 75% aggregate. Additionally, students must appear for the JEE Main exam and secure above the IIIT Manipur cut-off. Seats to the course are alloted through JoSAA counselling. The institute fills in the leftover seats through CSAB counselling.
