B.Tech Eligibility

Alliance University shortlist candidates for BTech (LE) course based on AUSAT score. The shortlisted candidates are then called for a personal interview round. Apart from this, candidates also need to pass Diploma in any branch of Engineering or BSc degree with subjects such as Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering course along with the second year subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) to apply for BTech admission. Candidates who have passed DVoc in the same or allied sector are eligible to apply for BTech courses. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Candidates are admitted to the course based on merit in last qualifying exam or JEE Main scores. Apart from this, it is also crucial that the aspirants fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Check below detailed GJUST BTech eligibility requirements:An applicant should have passed Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.For admission to BE/ BTech (Bio-Technology), a candidate should be a pass in Class 12 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science.A candidate who is passed in Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognised institute/ university.Candidates should have obtained 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates).Note: In the absence of information, the above eligibility is taken from HSTES Counselling. 

The minimum eligibility criteria for the BTech (Bachelor of Technology) programme at Swami Vivekanand University in Madhya Pradesh might typically include the following:Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognised board or educational institution.Subjects: They should have studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in their 10+2 or an equivalent examination.Minimum Marks: Candidates may be required to have a minimum percentage of marks in their 10+2 examination, which may vary depending on the specific BTech programme and the university's policies.

The basic eligibility for admissions to B.Tech in Civil Engineering for lateral entry course offered by Himalayan University is as follows:Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institute.Minimum Age: The candidate must have completed 18 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.Maximum Age: The candidate's maximum age limit is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.CGPA: The candidate must have secured a minimum of 6.0 CGPA in Diploma in Civil Engineering.In addition to the above, the candidate must also appear for and qualify the Lateral Entry Entrance Examination (LEEE) conducted by Himalayan University. The LEEE is a 2-hour, 100-question objective-type examination that tests the candidate's knowledge of basic engineering concepts.The application form for the LEEE can be downloaded from the Himalayan University website. The last date for submitting the application form is usually in May of the year of admission.

A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 60% aggregate is required to apply for BTech course. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with PCM/ PCB with at least 60% aggregate can apply for BTech in Biotechnology. Candidates must pass Class 10 & Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and PCM with at least 55% aggregate to apply for BTech CSE International. Aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility requirements for admission to BTech course. Those passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course. Additionally, Amity Lucknow accepts JEE Main or CUET UG or AMCAT score for all BTech specialisations except 3 Continent and CSE International. NEET score is accepted for admission to BTech Biotechnology.
