Admission requirements for B.Tech in Fashion Technology Normally, students are expected to produce the scores for the national or institution specific entrance tests. At VIT (VIT University) the admission is processed through VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) every year for the admission in various B.Tech. courses Fashion Technology included. B. Tech in Fashion Technology is a 4 year program and has variants like Bachelors in Fashion Designing. The course is completed over duration of eight semesters. The mode of admission is through an Entrance Examination carried out by different universities. B. Tech Fashion Technology graduates can choose from jobs like Costume Designing, Styling, Apparel Management and sectors like garment industries, textile machinery manufacturing industries etc. A fresh graduate of this course can expect a salary of between 10,000 INR 15,000 INR which would only increase with experience in the field.
