Therefore food technology deals with the study of the physical, chemical and the microbiological aspects of food. Bachelor of Technical Education (B.Tech) in Food Technology is a professional under graduate course of 4 years duration which deals with the study of food science in various activities happening in the food industry whereas B.Sc in Food Technology is an under graduate course of 3 years duration deals with the study of scientific principles involved in the food production as well as preservation.
