B.Tech in India

As a fresher,  a BTech graduate can earn an average of INR 15,000 - 30,000 per month. In other cases, the salary of a candidate depends upon the job profile, too. If you work as a Project Engineer, Design Mechanical Engineer you can earn an average of INR 1.5 - 8 Lacs annually. Candidates can earn in the range of INR 7-12 LPA after gaining an experience of more than 4-6 years in companies. Professionals who work in the mid-entry level jobs have a greater chance of earning more salary. Many professionals also take up certification courses in order to expand their skills and knowledge and earn more salary.

The lack of hands-on lab experience and limited faculty interaction can impact the development of essential engineering skills.Accreditation plays a crucial role. In India,  currently,  there are no accredited distance BTech programs. This lack of official recognition by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) can further diminish the credibility of such degrees in the eyes of employers.
